Tobacco A Go Go, Volumes 1 and 2
Hello All-
When Ken Friedman put together Tobacco A Go Go in the mid 1980s, it was a way for him to share the music that he had collected throughout the state. Without TAGG, bands like the Paragons, Grifs, Bondsmen, Corsayors and many others might not have ever been discovered by Garagaholics like myself. When Jake Berger and I started putting together There Was A Time, Tobacco A Go Go was the prime starting point for the music in North Carolina during the 1960s.
Someone has now posted all of TAGG Volumes one and two on Youtube. Click on, listen in, and see and hear what all the fuss is about. Enjoy,
-Daniel

Offering Jake Berger Prints At His Benefit On Saturday
I'm printing some late '90s photos of Jake Berger to donate to the the silent auction portion of Jake's benefit concert at the Double Door Inn on Saturday. I just found these photos, and these are their first-ever printing. If you're not interested in photos of Jake, I'm also offering prints for the silent auction of any subjects in my archive. I'm also currently working on scanning my archives from 1996-2002. Any requests? In the words of the Blind Boys Of Alabama, we got it, if you got it. See you on Saturday, and see you on the road.

The Bondsmen Reunion Show Now On Youtube
Hello All-
As you may know, I helped to reunite the legendary Bondsmen in 2015 for two shows in Charlotte and Durham. It was a genuine thrill to get these legends back together, and they did it with all eight band members from their 1965-1970 incarnations. And dang, they still sounded great. Now, you can see and hear what all the fuss was about. Here's selections from their hometown reunion show in Durham last December. My thanks to Daniel Andrews for his work on this video, and everybody that was part of the story along the way. Cheers, and let's Rock.
