These articles turned up some time ago, but I'm finally getting the chance to post them. Enclosed are two articles about the Young Ones, from Lumbeton, NC, and their winning the Big WAYS Battle Of The Bands in Charlotte, in November of 1966. The article from the Observer is a bit condescending (I smell a folkie, jazzer or geezer turning up their nose at the youngster's music), but the Robesonian article is a really nice find.
